MINI SE7EN & MINI MIGLIA
RENN-MINIS

Although it was a business tour that brought
us to Thruxton, we were still basically two Mini
drivers at a Mini-race-weekend.
Along with the British F3-, Formula Vauxhall-
and the national Saloon Car Championships,
the Mini Se7en and Mini Miglias held off their
Finals.

We had been invited by the Caerbont Automotive Instruments Mini Team with it's drivers Nicky Marsh und Rob Evans. Both cars were contending in the Mini Se7en Challenge and spoiled us with some spectacular driving during the training session, aswell as during the race.
The mighty Mini Miglias with 1300cc engines and over 120 bhp offered a magnificent show of skill and pure competition, as did the Mini Se7ens with 1000cc and only up to 80 bhp, without any serious hassles.
With almost 'Space-Frame' typ technology the cars gave the on-looker a fascinating insight to real race-engineering.
